THE CHALLENGE
Before SmartCert, LeJeune Bolt struggled with a highly manual certification process. Certification packets were often sent the day after shipments, which confused customers when product arrived without documentation. Shipping clerks spent up to an hour each day printing certs to include with shipments, while office staff dedicated 2–3 hours daily to compiling, saving, and emailing documentation. File size limits created more complexity, requiring 4–5 separate emails per order. Paper usage and manual workflows added to the cost and inefficiency.
